drinks heretofore. The summer - Palm Beach suit is a service uniform, the lighter weight, bluer sample I sent you. It is lovely and the nurses and officers all complimented us. It makes my eyes look bluer, and therefore does a lot for me. One of our officers wants to take a colored photo of all of us. That will be nice. I haven't been out of uniform since February, and scarcely since November. I don't even think about it, although I may wear shorts boating. The paint was much like our basement paint, but brighter red. No, I haven't answered the library card. Ted is going to bake my spice cake tomorrow. He is so nice, and phones me occasionally to visit a little. I owe lots of letters, just as I knew I would, but will try to work off a few as I can. I'm determined to keep you up to date, so others will just have to wait. I'm going to try to see Foddy sometime fairy soon. Maybe I can meet him at Stratford for a play. Size nine and a half is right for the stockings. No, I don't need more right not. Really, a package of eats would be most welcome. Could you include a package or so of American cheese? or a chunk of smoked cheese?
