Saving...
Those Washington stockings were Juliettes and she cut off the hems because she is so tall she has to sew them on other stockings now that she can't get dancer's stockings in war time. Do you know, I'd love a red cardigan sweater, or wool to make one if you can't find a nice one. A cherry red, buttoning down the front - size 16. If you get yarn instead, get Cashmere sport or Shetland floss. I'm so busy I'd rather have it made and I don't care what it costs. I'd also be glad to have a light blue one, as mine is wearing already with all the use it gets. If you can find them, buy them with my check, and send them as early as you can comfortably. Maybe some of the Cedar Rapids shoppers could do it. I'm glad you heard a broadcast, also that you get those clippings. There are advantages to being near a publicity hound like Eddie (along side Anderson, (Iowa coach)) aren't there? The chocolate comes well, so don't worry about the way of sending it. Love Helen
