Saving...
we went to the club and had four or five drinks and then dinner. Afterwards Johnnie and Jay & I took a hike up a lovely hill (along side Shortover Hill) and sat & looked at the view for an hour or so. It was magnificient, and we could see twenty miles or so - in the direction Polly and I took our long bicycle trip. Wasn't Prof. Bushes letter a dandy! I've read it to so many of the girls and they all think its wonderful. We all change along together and all wonder how much really. It's nice to know someone who thinks things through so well. You were right about the river trip. It was lovely and the twon is delightful. No, I don't wear my hat in the wards or rec. hall. I wear my gray seersucker dress and my blue sweater if it is cool. I haven't seen Freddy or Maureen yet, but hope to eventually. Mr. Gerge is Waldo, whom I used to see at dances where I went with Jack Bowen. (added College) Love Helen
