Saving...
ones I'll have to do when I'm not so busy. My laundry goes every Sunday morning and comes back the next Friday or Saturday. They do excellent work. I think it goes to London. We all send it together. Dry-cleaning is good too and goes at the same time. It's so nice to have clean, slick sheets so often. I'm afraid I'm going to be spoiled about ironing hereafter. I never did like it. My laundry and cleaning run about [pound symbol]2 a month. They change the APO because the other one went somewhere else. Clear? Pat, the land army girl, brought us a basket of apples yesterday. How we love them! I didn't ask Mary for more bars then because I thought two boxes was all she had! I've remedied it. Would you send me more stockings? Navy, fairly sheer, or rayon mesh in a 9-1/2. They are going fast now, as they are all about the same age. Yes, our ride to [W-?] was rained out. We are going to try again and if we can get reservations in this crowded validation period, may stay over & go riding in the Cotswolds the next day. Love, Helen
