colonels. The trip there was delightful and the scenery swell. The car just slipped through the little thatched villages and purred up the hills. Tommy, his driver, is a good one. We got there just in time & went in. Our seats were in the fifth row right in the center, and the Lieutenant-Colonels sat elsewhere. The theater is very nice & very modern, about 1937, I think. The play was "As You Like It," and we did -- very much. The characters were all perfect, and the house enthusiastic. Afterward we drove back by moonlight, which the blackout made more beautiful.
