Saving...
hankies. We have a bouquet of nasturtiums from our own garden on our table. The lettuce is good, the carrots growing, and the cucumbers in blossom. They had the first frost a few nights ago, though, so I don't know about the harvest. The ivy on the walls of the grey houses is turning rosy and is lovely. The new thatch shines on roofs and on haystacks. I'm very well, and can eat up as much bicycling as I can get. They change from double summer time in a day or so, which I hate, as it will make blackout about eight and leave little time between supper & dark. The strict blackout is to be relaxed, though, so it won't be as bad as in the past years. Gen just brought a box of Hersheys from Mary. They came beautifully. I'll write her soon. Yes, do give the things to people as they come. You might wait with Betty's locket till Mary's something arrives.
