Saving...
come in to see us in the afternoon and had tea by the fire. You see, we are quite the social lions and seem to be receiving all the hospitality they are too shy to offer complete strangers. Minster Lovell is a town of about six hundred, about halfway between Burford and Witney, in case you want to find it. It's really sweet. About eight Bobby took us to the highway and flagged our bus and we came on home. Mrs. Brodtman and Mrs. Jordan and Margaret are to be our guests at lunch and a movie downtown Thursday, and we are to talk over our next visit. I think we'll go about Dec. 6th. We've also an invitation to stay with Bobby at their London house where he spends the weeks. Freddy is there usually too. Jay and I have also an invitation to spend a night with Joan and Douglas Grant. Joan is our part time British secretary at the office and is charming. We are to bicycle out and back. Quite a social whirl, I'm glad to say. I hear Lin, just back from a ten day leave so must go investigate. Love, Helen
