I'll try to get them filled out tomorrow and sent back. I think I'll send my income tax blanks at the same time and let you file them. You have the receipt for the last one, haven't you? The one I paid in the early spring, I mean. Was that 1943 or 1944? That "pay in advance" is confusing. If it was 1944 then disregard these blanks. A few days ago I got packages from Betty W. with the nice bicycle seat cover, Schrams with the stencil set, and Mary's food package. I was delighted with all three and hope to write my "thank you" letters yet this evening. I'll also write to Herb Smith. Hope I can see him. Last night I'd just taken my bath and was reading (Lin Yutangs'?) Women in Peking when the phone rang and there was a long distance call from Dora (Dykins - Family friend - a Lt. physiotherapist with Army Hosp) in London. I'd been wondering if she were still here. We had a nice little visit. She had been taking a week's course in a British civilian hospital and now gets another week soon and wants to visit Maureen. She's a bit afraid it will be chilly. I want to meet her in London sometime if I can. Today I slept all morning and then worked alone in the craft shop. I had a
