I think that we've about decided to go to Whitehall for two days, the nineteenth and twentieth instead of London.  They begged us so to come, and Johnnie will be able to go this time.  We'll go to London right after the holidays.
Now, at last to answer your letters fifty to fifty two, inc.  My hat has a hat cover in the Dartmoor picture.  It is dark blue and can fasten under the chin to protect both hat and hair.  Yes, we went in the old church.
We forgot entirely that they would probably eat after eight when we first went to Whitehall!  It wasn't a special dinner invitation.  Would you believe it!  We have chrysanthemums in full bloom, holly in full berry, and the fool forsythia is starting to bloom its head off!  What a climate, of course the roses are still plugging along.
