Mrs. Hume-Rothery gave me a lovely book on our town and the surrounding country from the viewpoint of legends, ruins, etc. and her little girl, Jennifer, baked me some "biscuits". Mrs. Goddard made me a beautiful crocheted luncheon set - six glass doileys, 6 plate & a big one for center. Where such a busy woman finds the time I don't know. Mrs. Foulger gave me a little book; Dorothy
