Saving...
Bernstein a coat corsage. I had one of the volunteers make me red gloves for each of the girls. They are entranced with them. I heard Lin say "Oh, gosh"! when she opened hers.Helen Crum is still here, as a guest of mine now instead of a patient. She was released yesterday, but couldn't go back because of the weather and decided to spend Christmas here. I have letters fifty nine and sixty. Is Betty's sister married? The one who was in Michigan with them and went to the west coast? (Mine, too, one bed letters, done on a chess board so the writing is extra poor. Jay and Johnnie & Polly & I are opening our little gifts to each other tomorrow night after the Carol singing in the wards. I told you I had spoons for Jay and little silver forks for the other two. I think you'll love your spoons too. I'll mail them from London when we go in next. We are planning three days there the sixteenth to eighteenth of January. We are going to let our friends know so they can make play reservations, luncheon dates, etc. Tell Kay her paper was used again promptly, as well as every last one of the cute little tags. I'm so glad about Mary's pendant. I know she'll like it. Jay is asleep, and I should be, so love, Helen P.S. Our trees are lovely with our homemade decorations on them. All the wards are decorated too.
