Saving...
out again and it is packed away. If the form I send (which with the correction, is accurate) won't do, then to hell with it! I'm dory Forever Amber is so slow in coming. I had a neuropsychiatric patient who had his heart set on reading it and I'm afraid he won't be around when it comes. Shops that act like that are annoying. I love my new slacks and jacket. I can wear them for bicycling, picnics, or any time but on duty. The gray ones got quite worn on shipboard and during the summer. They aren't as trim either. For Pete's sake be careful of that gas stove! I don't think it's very smart to have it happen again. I don't think asphyxiation would be becoming to your style of beauty. Yes, the soldiers are interesting. The one you saw must be like those we get here. I love them, and am afraid I won't be thinking from a feminine point of view for years. All day I've had under my wing a tough guy named Red, who is on crutches and who wanted to learn to knit. He wanted to knit his baby a pair of pink bootees, and by golly, he's succeeding. He sat in the shop while I worked this afternoon, sweating and gripping the needles. Once he dropped a stitch and said violently "Shit!" and then looked horrified. I wanted to roar. The pattern is one of those fancy fan shaped ones, and he has done about two inches. I expect an SOS on my day off tomorrow.
