Saving...
to Kew gardens to see the spring flowers. The lilacs are just budded so we'll have to go again for them. Mrs. Brodtman and Mrs. Busby are coming to lunch with me Wednesday and we're going to a movie. Then Polly and I are meeting Jay at Whitehall Saturday for Bobby's birthday weekend. Thursday night, between those things, I'm going to see Vivian Leigh in "Skin of Your Teeth" in town. I had a nice letter from Betty with your number thirty one and two. Give her my love and tell her I'll write soon. George is well and making great strides on his tapestry. I can't imagine what you are doing to my room, but as you say it won't matter because I'm sure I'll be in the mood to construct a new one with little fireplace fancy plaster ceiling and all the works. As you see, my idea for the upstairs room changes from time to time and country to country. Glad Beauty has Patsy. I got a Whitefish Bay school paper today and eight of the kids I have in class have been killed in action. If you should come on any cheese spread, etc. without points you might send it. Shrimp would be nice for a snack, too. Love, Helen
