are expecting to leave any time now the machine gunners of the Battalion are doing the guarding. Last Saturday we went out to the combat range and had barrage drill. Left camp at six thirty and came back at two o'clock. We were sure a hungry bunch. We went out there so we could fire. Have been practicing on barrage drill for two weeks and this company was the best in the Division at that. We were in competition with the Machine Gun Company from the 133rd Infantry. We had the Lewis Machine Guns and they are easier to opperate and more effective than the Colts. I was
