officers and I helped myself whenever the mess-sergeant wasn't looking. Everybody has to be in camp by the 12th of this month. Between the 15th and the 1st of Sept is the time I think we will move. Lord but I'll sure be glad of the day when we get orders to "Roll Packs!" and "Pitch Tents!" There wont be a happier bunch in the world than at the 34th Division when we get final orders to board the train. Taps are blowing so I must close. My love to father & Helen kiss them for me. Write soon Lovingly Tom.
