Saving...
We pulled into Washington D.C. 8 oclock Friday morning. There we were served with real coffee, a sandwich and doughnuts by the Red Cross ladies. We sure appreciated everything in the line of eats that was given us for we werent fed very heavy on the train. We could just see the dome of the Capitol Building and Washingtons monument from the tracks. Went thru a long tunnel just before we reached that city. Our next big stop was at Wilmington Delaware. Thats a big manufacturing centre.
