once I would be satisfied. But there's no use crying now, it wasn't our fault so we are waiting till the time comes to go home. After what I've seen in France nothing could induce me to live over here in civilian life. Not for anything. It's the good old U.S.A. for me and nothing else when I get my discharge. Tomorrow we hike fifteen kilometers (not quite 10 miles) to our next stopping. I certainly hope we get better conditions that is, not so much mud. Well Did, when your next birthday comes around I am going to spend it with you.
