Honey! did it just dawn on you that the APO meant a place? That was why you got different returns when I went to London, etc. Sometimes they change even without a move because of the shift in some other units but usually not. Jack's is the Paris one, as mine was while I was there. So is Herb's. The pansy was lovely and kept its color. The lily of the valley was still sweet. Yes, we bought great bunches of them in Paris. I don't recall a navy blue jacket, but then I don't recall any of my clothes, so it is probably mine. Anyway don't give it away by force. We got free meals in London if we wanted to eat at Red Cross Staff clubs, but there were so many other places we didn't. In Paris one is not allowed to eat outside of regular messes, due to the food situation. Yes, we have many from German prison camps. They are interesting. It's much hotter and colder and drier here than in England and there are bugs like at home. That last sounds odd, but you know what I mean. Love, Helen
