Saving...
days as soon as I hear when we may be able to go to the Riviera for our week's leaves too. We both have them due. I had thought I might go back to England for my leave, but folks keep leaving. Now Joyce has gone home because of her mother's very poor condition. I feel so sorry for her. It was worrying her for several months and had a lot to do with her session in the hospital. She did so want to go to Switzerland and other countries before she went back to her job in New York. Things are getting lighter here by the day and I wonder how long before they pull us out and send us elsewhere. It might be a couple of months, though. The next spot ought to be quite luxurious, although I can't complain of anything yet. Anyway I think I'll wait till I've been home to go bouncing off to tropical isles. OK? I'll be due to come home at any rate in about nine months and it probably won't be that long.
