Saving...
chance to talk to each other and decide what we should do. Johnny kept whispering "Naomi doesn't want to go, but she thinks you do. You don't, do you?" Yesterday we had a nice USO concert and the girl performers spent the afternoon with me before and after the concert. It was my day off, and fortunately I got a chance to sleep a little. Poor Naomi! After we got home at five twenty she had to be dressed and ready to go to Liege for doughnuts at nine. We both went to bed about ten last night and have somewhat recovered by today. This is just to give one instance of why life is not dull in the Channel Base section! Time now to close up. I have a few more things to send home when I get a box. Love, Helen
