2 to do Red Cross work in the states at all, nor do I want to come home with a unit that may fluke out and never get going again. Every day, I think, opportunities for going to the Pacific by Mediterranean, Suez and so on will come up, and if I should hear of a real good unit and if some of the girls I like should be going, I might be quite tempted in a few months. Ruth Scott, our AFD, came back from Liege this morning and asked me if I wanted to go with a group leaving in a few days. I said I didn't, but later on I may want to. The more experience a person has, the easier it is to do things. Right now there isn't a prospect that worries me and the chances are that I'd not mind the place I got to. As far as reports from girls coming home is concerned, there were many who hated England, and who have hated every country they went to. On the other hand, Naomi spent 20 months in New Guinea, came over here, and will return to the Pacific gladly when the work is done here. Juliette likes it very much there, too.
