Trudgeon, a tall lanky fellow from Texas. The country is beautiful and we went along the roads with nice shade trees bordering them. This section is known as the Ardennes, and is noted for its beauty. Saturday night I went to the officers' club dance with an air corps major named Johnny Schneider. Naomi went with another major named Jim Brady. We had lots of fun, but I think it will do me for a long time as far as Scotch is concerned, as we didn't feel so well yesterday. It was my first and my last hangover. Johnny is tall, very nice looking and an excellent dancer. The dance ended at one thirty. We started off to cook some steaks at Jim's house, but thought better of it and came home after a little drive around. It was a perfect night, with a big round moon and the field sweet with new mown hay. I expect that neither of the men
