Esther just got back from Paris yesterday and brought Naomi and me lots of different kinds of stationery. We split it three ways, so you should get some variety. This is the prettiest I think and I have a couple more of them. I must tell you about yesterday. It was one of those days in a million that a person will never forget. About 11:30 Jim (Maj. Brady) phoned to tell Naomi and me to come out to Florennes with the group of enlisted men from the hospital who were going on the regular air tour and he'd take us up. We rode over on the truck, about a 45 minute ride. We sat and visited with Jim in his office for awhile and looked at his maps. He was the Executive Officer for the Bomber Group, made up of several squadrons and an excellent bombadier. Someone was talking about the DFC awards and Naomi asked him why he didn't tell her he got it. He said, "You didn't ask me."
