Saving...
4. Yes, I did get the crochet hooks (no 43) and the shrimp & lavender soap (46). For the life of me I can't place 42. I thought I had written as they came, but that must have been one of the times I wrote from the chateau, without my list beside me. They were so delightful I don't see how I could have failed to mention them. By the way, the slippers are Daniel Greene, not Boone. And could you send me some more Jalma? I'm all out. Also a roll or so of film if you can get it. Yes, the fellows in the picture were patients at Re-sec, if you mean the ones all sprawled out. You will eventually get a picture of the plane and crew and passengers of our trip to Paris. One of the men took it but we can't get it developed before I leave, so someone will send it, I hope. The tall fellow next to me is Maj. Snyder. Don't get excited about it, as he's already married. Now, if I'll just take my own advice! Better write to me at Am. Red Cross, Hospital Division, APO-887 for a while. Paris, you know. Love, Helen
