3 him. Of course nothing suited me better so out we went. Before long two very nice nurses and their dates, friend of his came to our table and we had lots of fun. One of the men, Capt. Wood, I had liked particularly when I had visited with him at the Rock and around various places. The men were all three anti-aircraft artillery men, the first of those I'd encountered. When the dance here ended at 1, we went across the road to a hotel called Belles Rives and danced till 2. Today I slept till almost noon, as I had a headache. I guess it was the hot sun on the water. After lunch I went to Eden Rock and swam awhile. I saw Capt. Wood and got acquainted with two new restees, one of whom is interesting because he sinks in salt water like a ton of lead. They wanted a date, but somehow I wasn't intrigued, so I got vague. I came home about 4 and slept till 7. As I was going in to eat I bumped into a Red Cross supervisor so ate with her. She suggests I ask for club work in staging areas or in Germany for a while. I may do it. After supper I met a couple of R.C. girls from up around Liege whom I'd seen in a meeting & we went out to a table and before long we were joined by three artillery officers. Somehow I inherited two of them
