Saving...
After the lunch I went back to my mental ward & just got half to sleep when they called us to the gangplank over the PA system. We got on a train & rode till 3:30 this morning to Tidworth, the staging area for the Queens. Fortunately, an artillery regiment took care of our luggage for us. The infantry regiment running this area met us with trucks & good cheer & brought us here, fed us & got us to bed. We slept till 11:30, ate lunch, the C.O. of the area told us what amusements were avilable, how to get places, etc. Having about 12 days to spend, Lord knows where I'll get to, so don't be surprised at anything. If we can get permission from London HQ to make that our center while here, I'll really go a-roaming. I'm sorry about not getting home as soon as I hoped to, but it's all in the game and will be interesting anyway. I got package 57 in camp & we devoured it. No letters, though, & I think they're in Paris. Love, Helen
