Saving...
35th Div. dances their officers were having. I knew most of them from the week before and arranged it so that I got with a Captain Gibson who was a good dancer & whom I had liked better than the colonel. We had a good time and they brought us home in the truck about one o'clock, our dates coming along to see us home. Sunday I sent my coat to the cleaners, caught a cold in my head and, since it has been raining ever since my activities have been limited to movies & a drink or so at the post officers club. We are supposed to board Friday night as things stand now, so I may not write again. On the other hand, you won't be too surprised no matter where I turn up, will you? Love, Helen
