gloomy. I do like the sunshine this time of the year. You have heard of Ida's baby of course through the paper and Maggie E. [illegible] or Thayer now has a boy too it was born some too soon she went over to her folks to help them when Katie was sick and hurt herself she said the [goll?] of the buggy hurt her they thought her baby would die at first but it is getting along all right now they have had a hard at her father's Ratie was very sick with inflammation of the bowels and then Ben got his shoulder broke and Maggie was sick there at home the baby was born there I saw Emma in town yesterday and she said they were getting along quite well now.
