Oct 18/1897 [Oto Iowa?] Dear friend As Edith has written to Wright & Frank to Sid I thought I had better try to keep up my end of the string by writing to you this leaves us all well except Frank has has a sore finger we have an awfalry nice baby "But she is cross" I dont think she looks like Edith. But nearly all of the neighbors do. She has grey eyes her hair is about the color of Ediths I will send a lock of it
