my Squad and he was excited all day. along in the afternoon the air was blue all around. He cussed us and he dammed his luck for having such a bunch of awkard men said we drilled like a bunch of old wimmen and that he got hell for it and it was getting on his nerves. but today butter wouldent melt in his mouth. he was so nice. I seen Leone paine last night down at the exchange and he was put on kitchen police for three days for Chewing gum in ranks. but don't tell anyone for he wouldent like it if he knew I told ok they are strict as hell. Earl Mc. got put in a machine gun Co. and I haven't seen him since we left the receiving room. I don't know about getting home but am going to try in two or three weeks
