Send me just what you can spare but if it is going to make you short don't send any as I can get along some way You needent pay John (Fettegether?) what I owe him until you get my pay as I know he will be willing to wait. Money don't seem to last long in the army. I had a whole lot of extra expense this last month. they wanted every man to give to the mess fund and I gave two dollars than I owed paul two dollars and thirty cents from one night when we were home and another fellow a dollar. and you know we only get twenty three dollars a month. but now if you are short don't send anything but if you have sold the wheat I expect you can.
