and I expect at times my letters are short. well you know how it is. there may be much I would like to tell you but cant and it ishard to find something to write about. I wasent in England only about 48 hrs. so dident have time to find any of our relations. England and France are both pretty countrys but I wouldent trade our little Iowa eighty for the whole of France and England if I had to live here. It most certainly is too bad people cant keep their dam mouths shut about Leona stay there. and it was a dam dirty shame the way Fred Adams and Turley Deitz used you about thrashing and Fred Adams a K.P. too. We have a name for such men in the army but it wouldent look well on paper. If you want
