long and things looked favorable for going home and I dident write only a few letters but it looks now as if we would be here now for some time one of the fellows came back from a divisional school last night and he said the general said the schools were to last fourteen weeks yet but you can hear anything, but I dont realy look to be home before the middle of the summer but of course it all depends on how quick peace is signed. I had a notion if we have to stay until mid summer to try to get my discharge over
