and runners at battalion Hdq. and they have separate mess and billits but I hope they don't do that with us as I would rather be with the Co - So you saw by the paper we were not in the Army of Occupation but soon would be well all signs point that way enough so I bet $5 this afternoon we would go to Germany and if I win I'll send you the whole business I am broke now but I will have two months pay comeing the first of Feburary and I'll send you some than I have already sent you ten dollars through the Y.M.C.A. and I'll not send any more until I find out wether you got it or not and by the way if you have any money to give, give it to the red cross or the Salvation Army, preferably to the Salvation Army for they
