(flails?) or sticks. they butchered a hogs the other day would weigh about 225 and they had about four men to do it. Well it is getting late and I'll have to close there is a regimental maneuver tomorrow and I expect I'll get Hell run out of me. I sure wish I were back with you tonight we sure could have a good visit. it wont be long now until we will be entitled to wear the gold stripe showing we have had six months foreign service I sure hope we don't have another one before we get back. I am glad old Middy is in good health buy him some candy but don't give him any gum drops we have been able to buy a little real candy lately it is sure hard to get over here.
