Saving...
2:10 PM - Thurs. Dear Mother, So far, so good. I had a seat and interesting company, got a Parmalee with no trouble, and am now in the restaurant at the B&O, where Ican get on my train about 3:30. So far the only thing I've thought of that I forgot was my nice white comb, that I washed so carefully last night & intended to put in my purse after I combed my hair. I couldn't get a glimpse of you because the glass was so frosted. It stayed that way till after Davenport, when the sun melted it. I didn't knit or read. There was a girl ahead of me who had wanted badly to get in R.C. hospital work but couldn't pass her physical. There was a nice woman beside me & a man in the Parmalee was just home from Germany. Love, Helen
