fall expect that one must remember winter follows so closely at its heels. Being in the coal business tho I guess we shouldn't complain too much that our winters are severe. Do hope the repairs for the stoker have arrived and are installed by now. The darn lights have gone so dim I'm having to use a flashlight so there isn't going to be much more. There isn't much to say anyhow. Bill just got a letter from an old friend we came in the army with out at Salt Lake. He is still in California with a few others, it's good to hear from the old timers tho - Love Johnny
