Saving...
mistake, so often with our branch of service fellows are missing for weeks and then turn up safe and sound, I can't even hope tho. Somehow I had such confidence and faith that nothing would happen to Red, it seems unbelieveable. I just can't seem to get it off my mind. Seems as tho King and Adeline have had an awful big share of grief and sorrow. Hope Grandmothers trip home didn't tire her too much seems like that's quite an undertaking for a youngster of nearly ninety. How long did she stay with you this year was it longer than last or not? I'm glad she can go home again as long as she was so homesick. Expect you will miss her a good deal. So John Camp is in the lumber business don't let Pop start a bank for spite. I shouldn't think he could look after both jobs either but perhaps skipping from one place to another is just what he likes. Or has he settled down and isn't so scatter brained as he was. Guess I'll sign off for this afternoon and will write again tomorrow - Love Johnny
