what the reason is. We've killed several and keep anything we have to eat shut up in tin boxes but there must be lots more of the little pests. I'm about as far from the place you mentioned as it is from home to Cedar Rapids. I've been there however and it's quite a nice town. That is for over here back home it would be crummy. Bill & I are going to try and take a pass soon, it's been since the first of August since I've had one so it's about time. Had to stop for awhile and now it's after supper. Got a fruit cake from the Carpenters and a V-mail from you written the thirteenth. I'm mighty glad Milan made the grade and is now a shave tail looie. What branch of service is Dale Johnson in I might happen to run on to him. My mail must have piled up for you to get four letters at once. Most everyone in the squadron got shots yesterday, don't know how I escaped, perhaps just an oversight and I'll get mine very soon. Hasn't been so long since I was punched & vaccinated tho. I have another small snap shot which I'll put in this letter. It kind of shows the variation of personnel in the outfit. The little fellow is James Goggin
