Saving...
happened by now but I hope for the best. That bank account begins to sound pretty good and the bonds are mighty nice too. they are like a paid up insurance policy a fellow can just forget about them and he has a nest egg to fall back on someday. I dont care if any more are bought or not but I dont know either where the extra money should be put. That last allottment you got must have been July's they started with March's pay and are always a month behind we get paid the last of each month for that month so you should have five allottment checks so far. Im glad to be saving a little while I can dont think I shall ever regret it. I'll write a bit more this evening before I turn in, got two V-mails & the clippings especially enjoyed the one about the national park we are to have near the river I still maintain we have some of the most beautiful scenery in the world in northeast Iowa. Havent had time to read the paper yet. Will sign off for I have no news. Love Johnny
