Saving...
Theres no fool like an old foot I reckon but I had a lot of fun yesterday riding around on a motorcycle that belongs to one of the fellows on the line. I remember when I got the old Model-T Ford I wanted a motorcycle but ran into some parental opposition. Guess it's just as well for I might have broken my neck or at least an arm or leg. One of them does make quick transportation however in good weather. Today our laundry is due back sure hope it comes for the last one I sent was a two weeks accumulation and most everything I have is dirty. It is certainly cheap laundry and quite good only fifty cents for twenty five pieces, government operated by the quartermaster department. Must stop and shower for its past noon and the water should be warmed up in our barrels, at night is getting pretty coolish. We certainly have had a lot of good from our makeshift outfit. There is no news of course and I imagine you get tired of hearing the same old things everytime I write but there is just nothing to write about. Love Johnny
