Hominy & Cheese Wash & soak a tea cup ful of Hominy one or two days before changing the water Drain & boil with milk till quite soft, & of [weaker?] consistency. (Simmering assuers better but it can be boiled in1/2 an hour) Put into a pie dish or Macaroni tin with a little salt & pepper & stir in 1/2 lb of cheese chopped like suet. Cover it with thin slices of butter & bake a time to brown it nicely.
