surprising for they dont seem to turn any sort of vegetation under, looks like it would pack hard as a rock the years & years this country has been settled. One of the boys on my crew is laid up, has an abscessed wisdom tooth which has swelled up so they cant pull it and when the swelling goes down the bone will have to be scraped. Surely has a painful seige ahead of him. I had to go to the dentist myself yesterday, the tooth came off my bridge and it had to be cemented on again, luckily I didnt lose it for I couldnt have gotten another. Our dentist said it wasnt such a hot job in the first place. Should get some letters tonight for I've missed several days now, hope so anyhow. The Christmas packages are coming in great quantities now, certainly doesnt seem like it was that season & of course isnt for weeks. Love Johhny
