had a letter tucked in with it too, he must have had a wonderful season with his show. Only went to the mess hall to eat once today had toast & coffee for breakfast Vienna sausage & toasted cheese sandwiches with fruit cake & cookies for dinner so we are living like kings while the packages last. Tomorrow I am going to build doors for our new building if I have time they wont be very fancy ones with the material at hand bur they'll be like the proverbial (dutch?) girl I bet. Dont know where Vivian got her news about Bobs (illegible) I got a letter from him yesterday from France and it was sent November twenty fifth. He said he'd only had two letters from Vivian and mine in over two months so I'll write him again soon. Guess his mail hasnt caught up to him. Dont think his living conditions are nearly as nice as he had when I visited him. I signed up today for a couple of courses the army offers to soldiers dont know when it will start nor what it will amount to but I dont think I could go wrong.
