December 15, 1044 Italy Dear Dad & Mom: By your last letters I hear you are getting snow, hope it doesn't stay, or get too cold. Doesn't seem very wintery here but is a bit nippy. Boy do we have dogs with us now. One of the dogs which was flown across with one of our planes had nine pups. The boys that own them will have their hands full. I think ten dogs in one small shack is too many don't you? Hope you can get your kitchen radio fixed up soon I know how much you used to enjoy it. Do you still have the one in the basement? Maybe you could rob it of a tube if you don't use that one so much. I haven't seen a movie for a long time, there have been very few good ones and they are still shown outside which is pretty cold. There is a theatre being constructed but not very rapidly. Had kind of a lousy day but it was work I like so didn't seem bad. There are some jobs that I like on an airplane and others
