Tomorrow we get our P.X. rations, think I'll try and get mine early for a change so I can get some shaving lotion and powder, if they have any it always goes fast. Bill made a new stove today its a two burner affair so we can make toast and cook at the same time. It is a five gallon oil can laid on its side with the other side cut down and a steel plate welded to it. Really works good and heats our shanty like a charm. I have a busy day ahead of me tomorrow but it's work I like, building up a new engine. Sure hope it doesn't rain and isn't too cold. Got a kick out of the gossip about D. Smith and Valdi and still more about Daisy Cramer. Is that the Dannan Holmes she was talking about? Sure sorry Dad can't get cigars guess they are shipping them overseas, there seem to be plenty over here. Wish I could send him a box but that isn't possible, all cigars and cigarettes are tax free to service men. At least he can get his Prince Albert. Hope your hand is all healed up by now.
