Yes of course I remember Doyle Owen & that trip we took so long ago. Wonder what branch of service he is in. It's been a long time since I've seen him, don't even know that I would recognize him if I was to see him. No, I've never been issued an overcoat but we have a good warm short jacket & a sweater so I don't get cold. Then of course we have our sheepskin jackets to work in. I've never sent a package home if I do I'll tell you so you can be on the lookout for it. The bond will show up soon no doubt, sent a hundred bucks home at the same time so that will be along too. Guess it takes about six weeks for it go thru. Wonder if it would be possible to find a bill fold, mine is almost in shreds and we never see anything like that over here. If you can find one I'd sure like to have it. Must stop for tonight for I have a big day ahead tomorrow - Love Johnny
