Saving...
certainly glad you got into it when you did. Helen F. writes that Dorothy Ward is now in India - spent 8 weeks on the boat and had a grand time. She has gone into one of the mobile units according to Helen. Did I write you how pleased I was to meet your two mates and what lovely things they had to say about you? Well if I didn't, they did, anyway. 'Twas fun seeing them and talking with them about what you were doing. I tried to give your mother a report each time for I knew she would be much interested. I am enjoying my work very much but it certainly is strenuous. The plan was that I was to go onto the Recruiting unit after Christmas but quotas have been so terrifically reduced that that isn't necessary now. It may be later of course. We had a big quota of St. Aides which is now practically filled - and recently a large quota for St. Assts. so I'm helping on that now. After I "peruse" your letter again I'll send it up to Bess to read. I'm sure you've written her all the same
