Saving...
England. We get day and a half off twice a month also a long week-end once a month plus added days from accumulated leave which you can take so I really might be able to meet you if you're in the country! Our hospital isn't finished yet we're sitting around doing next to nothing. Jane Whitacre (a (illegible) 5) is our Senior Rec and does some work dallying a bit with records & supplies which we are to get but I haven't done a damn thing! Oh we give a few detachment parties and now are planning one tourist excursion a week - to plan these I gallop all over god's creation finding interesting spots - places to eat & travel connections etc. For instance today a bicycle trip was scheduled to a nearby cathedral - tea etc - postponed on account of strong winds - Janey and I explore the nearby towns - get ourselves invited to tea at numerous homes and you'd die to see the delighted faces as I give away a few flower seeds - since the war you can't get them here and the Br. are lovers of gardens....
