Albuquerque, N.M. Tuesday Dec 18, 1945 My Dear Mrs. Fox, Enclosed, you will find the pictures we took at your home. Gosh, I love all of them, Don't you? And the one of the window, that's so delightful, I shall try to have the negative enlarged. If it comes out alright, as I expect it will, you shall have one too. I thought I would start my little note off with the pictures, cause I never do by apologizing for my tardiness. In fact, I usually don't mention it at all, but in this case I must. You see, it isn't as tho you haven't been on my mind every single day since we left your delightful home, its just - well, just that there had been a million other things running through my mind at the same time. New York, was, on the one hand, delightful, on the other hand, a nightmare. I shall never forget the hectic time we spent there, from our not being able to get into any hotel (went to the Travelers Aid as a last resort) to my meeting my sister, who had come in from
